Scott McNeill serves as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Black Mountain Sand and the Board of Managers as Executive Chairman. Scott spent 15 years as an energy investment banker with Raymond James where he was a Managing Director and led the Energy Services and Equipment practice working on M&A and capital market financings.

In 2013, he joined the board and management team of RSP Permian (RSP) as a private company. As CFO of RSP Permian, Scott led its IPO, multiple acquisitions, and its eventual sale to Concho Resources. Subsequent to RSP, Scott co-founded and led two Special Purpose Acquisition Companies, Switchback Energy Acquisition Corporation and Switchback II Corp. that successfully brought public ChargePoint, Inc. and Bird Global, Inc., respectively.

Scott earned an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin and his BBA from Baylor University.
